Cuda Newsletter week of June 6th
Hello Cuda families-
PDF newsletter, take 2.
For swimmers who are signed up for their first IM or butterfly or those 8 & under's who take their first time on the block, doing something new can be challenging. Those swimmers are probably going to get DQ'd as they are learning. It is going to be new. It's going to be different. It's going to challenge your mental processing & your ability to push past frustration. When the going gets tough, what do we tell our kids? Eh, get out of the water & give up? Nope, we tell them to Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.
Just like those swimmers, adults can find challenges in new tasks & this VP has certainly received her share of DQ's this week on my new skill of sending out the newsletter. But I won't give up until I get it out right!
Attached you will (or I sure hope so!) find the PDF of our weekly newsletter. Hopefully this will help those who were unable to open the Word document due to operating systems. All future newsletters will be in PDF format.
The silver lining- I talked with Coach Kara at the pool last night & we realized that no weekly theme had been picked yet. She decided the theme for our first swim meet of 2022 at Mount Horeb this Saturday will be Tropical. Wear your tropical accessories on Saturday to help us bring the island vibes to a great first meet.
