Good evening Cuda families! If you are signed up for pre-season training, read on! If you are not attending, feel free to delete. 

It’s hard to believe, but our pre-season spring training starts in just under a week so I wanted to get out some details.

Dates (Sundays):

March 10, 17

April 7, 14, 21, 28

May 5, 19

June 2

Location: Sauk Prairie High School Indoor Pool- seating for parents is located upstairs in the balcony. Last year we used the team locker rooms if you need to change. (Most swimmers prefer to come in their suits already).  

Time frame:

• 5:30-6:00pm New/Beginning swimmers only, in-water instruction for those who are working on swimming the length of the pool on their front and back. If you are brand new to the Barracudas, please come during this time (at least the first day) so we can evaluate skills and place your swimmer in the correct lane. Shifting times are a possibility after the first practice.  We will try to catch parents afterwards, or via email.  

• 6:00pm-7:00pm Returning swimmers who are able to swim a length of the pool on their front and back, consistently.

Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early as the lifeguards need to take a dinner break and swimmers will not be able to get in the water until 5:30

What to bring:

• Swimsuit (Recommended- one-piece for girls, jammers for boys)

• Cap

• Goggles

• Water bottle

• Towel

*OPTIONAL- EQUIPMENT SWAP!! If you have caps, goggles, fins, that you no longer need and would like to donate to another Cuda family, please bring that equipment to our first practice. I can create a bin of donated equipment others can use or take as needed.

Simply Swimming in Middleton should have all of these items available for purchase if you are interested in stopping in.  Word on the street is they are having a sale March 6-16th.  They will also be coming to Black Earth Middle/HS on April 3rd to help Barracuda families with all apparel and equipment needs.
